Jonny has many years of experience in the automotive sector. He was awarded Nissan’s Prestigious Global EV CEO Award in 2016 and GreenFleet EV Champion in 2020. Jonny also appears in the Green Fleet 100 most influential people list, for his recognised EV work within the fleet industry.

Having driven over 150,000 zero tailpipe emission miles in the last 7 years, he has first-hand experience of the benefits of electric mobility. In his last role, he advised and guided corporates and their fleets through the transition into electric vehicles. His in-depth knowledge of electric vehicles and the fleet industry is underpinned by his passion to reduce everyone’s carbon footprint and improve air quality.

He now works for Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions as “Head of Decarbonisation” and will build an ecosystem that encompasses everything in the future fleet, ensuring that it supports every businesses’ objectives and every electric vehicle drivers’ needs.

Jonny is also the founder of “The EV Café” which was shortlisted for an IT Innovation award. Its webinar series brings the whole EV Community together to share knowledge on the whole eMobility value chain and inform fleet and business audiences about the attributes and management of electric vehicles.
