The EV Café – “Public Sector” – Ep 13

More from EV Café

13th! Unlucky for some, not for the #EVcafe Public Sector special. We opened the doors to over 200 people who came to hear from Vince Dignam FCILT, Owain Pearce, Gordon Manson , Lloyd Allen and Terry Pycroft MBA. being wrangled by our wonderful host Jonny Berry. Myself, John Curtis and Paul Kirby wait with baited breath to ask our questions and Mathew Kiziuk is in the mailroom.

Vince brought the exciting news that City of London aims to be the first in the UK to complete a full electric refuse collection (90% of which goes to Energy from Waste)

Owain described how Oxford ESO ensures they can invest in EV fleet with ambitious targets and innovative trial with all electric refuse trucks.

Lloyd and the Go Ultra Low West team are questing to ensure the Bristol region thrives with easy to use and low cost publicly owned charging network with many plans afoot for fleet.

Terry is a UK legend and explained the catalyst to their decision to grasp EV by the horns. He says communication up and down the chain internally has been key to their vast success.
